Santa Pola, Biar and Aspe will have Day Centres for the elderly and people with functional diversity.

The president of the Diputación de Alicante, Carlos Mazón, and the vice-president of the Generalitat and councillor for Equality and Inclusive Policies, Aitana Mas, the institutional declaration of collaboration for the extension of the ‘Pla Convivint d’Infraestructures de Serveis Socials’, an agreement that will allow to complete the social map of the territory with new services, thanks to a provincial contribution that reaches six million euros.

Mazón welcomed the signing of this agreement, thanks to which the construction of specific primary care and secondary care centres will be promoted, in accordance with the agreed map of needs. With an injection of six million euros from the Provincial Council, the municipalities of Santa Pola, Biar and Aspe will have Day Centres for the Elderly.

The event, held in the PROP Building in Alicante, was also attended by the Deputy for Social Services, Mª Carmen Jover.
